Filming in New Zealand
New Zealand offers some of world’s greatest locations and post-production services for international filmmakers, but it can be quite daunting for the producers to work out what they can and can’t do when it comes to filming locally here in New Zealand – especially if you’re coming from different parts of the world and not used to how things are done locally.
We are closely affiliated with New Zealand Film Commission and Auckland City Council and have direct access to Auckland’s best filming studios and facilities.

New Zealand Grants
and Tax Relief
“Currently, there are no specific incentives for international filmmakers who carry out their production in New Zealand, although the production expenditure could be tax-deductible per the local tax laws.
Since 1 July 2017, the New Zealand government has provided the New Zealand Screen Production Grant, where filmmakers can get certain rebates on their production costs.
As with any other government grant, the rules around this can be quite tricky.
Please contact us if you would like assistance with your future production in New Zealand.”
